Ocean Colony Beachfront Retaining Walls & Walkways

This beachfront community’s grounds were held up by aging timber walls hidden under overgrown junipers, with worn brick walks and stairs between the buildings. We removed the old timbers and overgrowth, regraded the sandy slope, and built a long, two-tier segmental block retaining wall that wraps the back of the buildings and steps around each corner. New brick walkways run along the top, with new stairs and cable railings down to the parking court. The terraces between the walls are planted with hardy coastal plants, giving the property a clean, finished look from every angle.
