Cedar Glen Retaining Wall Replacement
Retaining Walls
The slope in front of this building was held back by old timber walls that had rotted, leaned forward and disappeared under weeds and brush. Soil was washing down onto the curb. We tore out the timbers and cleared the slope. Then we built two curved tiers of segmental block in a tan-and-brown blend that suits the building’s siding. Drain outlets along the base of each tier let water out from behind the wall, so it doesn’t build up pressure. The result is a level, low-maintenance terrace with a clean edge along the curb, ready for new plantings.
